Prerequisite: Spellcasting
Through years of extensive study and with the gift of a brilliant mind, you have learned a wide variety of magical concepts and how to exploit them. You gain the following benefits.
- Your intelligence ability score increases by 1
- You can now read and cast spells through spell scrolls not limited to your class's spell list, but instead limited to the spell lists of wizard, sorcerer, bard, artificer, and warlock. You gain the ability to read a spell scroll from any of those class spell lists as an action. If a spell scroll belonging to one of the spell lists is above your ability to cast, you can make a spell-casting check adding your spellcasting modifier. The DC required for the save is equal to 10 + the spell's level. Otherwise, if the spell is of your level to cast or below, the spell is automatically cast.
- When you cast a spell requiring an attack roll, the number required to land a critical blow is decreased by one.
