Animagus

An Animagus is a person who can transform themselves into an animal and back again at will (as a bonus action). To become an Animagus one must complete a time consuming ritual.

Animagus Ritual-

1. holding the leaf of a mandrake in their mouth for an entire month,
2. Create Animagus Potion (spit the leaf in a phial within range of the moon's pure rays. To the moon-struck phial, the player must add one of their own hairs, a silver teaspoon of dew that has not seen sunlight, and the chrysalis of a Death's-head Hawk Moth. The mixture must be put in a, dark place and cant be touched by the suns rays.{is it is touched by the sun rays and the player drinks it they become a half/half form permanently}.
3. reciting an incantation (Amato Animo Animato Animagus) on a daily basis with a wand over their heart until a lightning storm.
4. drinking the Animagus potion during a lightning storm.

Once the initial training is over, an Animagus can then change at will (as a bonus action), with or without the use of a wand. Animagus who take on the form of species capable of flight can enjoy the sensation without the need of other forces., as well as any other abilities of the taken form. It is debated (but generally believed possible if not rare) for one's Animagus form to be a magical creature.

An Animagus in animal form is not restrained by the lifespan limit of there chosen form, but instead by there own lifespan.

Every Animagus bears an identifying mark of some sort. If an animagus, undergoes any major physical change such as a lost limb or ect, so does there animal form.

An animagus can consciously choose if they want to transform there jewellry, cloths and items with them.

Animagus still think like they did before when in animal form, however their feelings are not as complex in animal form.

animagus may comunicate with other animals but only in animal form.

animagus in animal form are not viable targets for enraged lycontrops, 

There does exzist a reversal spell to transform an animagus back to human, for a limited time of 1 min then they may turn back at will.

The end result form is not chosen by player but random yet forms taken ushuly reflect the player true self and nature and should either be determand by DM ( or table to come in later edition)
