While you may not be the best of cooks, you know your way around the kitchen. Unfortunately for those you feed, you're more interested in seeing what kind of experimental wonder-foods you can make rather than making something actually delicious.
When you cook, roll a d10 and apply one of the following effects according to the number rolled to all of those who partook of the dish:
- Have all participants make a CON save with a DC of 10. To those who fail, apply a debuff of -2 to all ability checks, as well as applying the Poisoned condition. Applies until the next short rest.
- Have all participants make a CON save with a DC of 5. To those who fail, apply 1 point of fire damage. Just couldn't handle the spice.
- The dish turns into a completely different dish partway through eating it, much to the surprise of those consuming it.
- Does nothing. Still tastes like garbage though.
- Also does nothing, but tastes strangely like chicken regardless of ingredients used.
- Causes a random body part of the DM's discretion to glow a random color on a per participant basis.
- Grants a Bardic Inspiration to all who consumed the dish.
- Roll a d4 per consumer and the resultant value is the number of hitpoints that are healed by the dish. Any extra that would go over the maximum health are converted into temporary hitpoints that last until the next short rest.
- Each participant has Enhance Ability cast on them for one hour with the effect depending upon their highest ability score, eg Bear's Endurance for CON or Bull's Strength for STR. In the case of tied ability scores, roll a die to determine the affected score.
- The dish actually tastes good for once! You may also decide as a party which of the 9 effects you'd like to apply, although it is made for the whole party rather than per person.
