You are experienced in making, repairing, and maintaining weapons and armor. Given time, materials, and a stocked smithy, you can craft a weapon are armor piece at half the price to purchase.
During a long rest, you can use 10g worth of materials and 15 minutes to improve a piece of armor or a weapon for the next day.

You cannot stack multiple improvements on a single piece of equipment.
