When you touch the ground and focus on entering the wraith world, you can gain access to a new view. For up to 5 minutes at a time, you can view the "spiritual essences" of anything within 1,000 feet of you. If the essence is in motion, you know the direction of its movement.

Or you can locate the nearest essence of a particular kind as long as you have had some kind of interaction  with the essence.
