You have studied with Elise, an elven Master Etymologist. You have learned how to enhance your spells with words of power.
- All cantrips and spells can be enhanced by 1 level in damage or effectiveness, if appropriately chanted with words of power.
- Must declare the use of words of power before casting a spell.
- Only one effect can be enhanced at a time, such as: +1 damage die to spells, increased area or effect 5' in each dimension, +1 additional target if multiple targets, etc.
- Words of power are required to be vocalized by the player and must have the following: 3 lines that rhyme in any order, one line must pertain the the spell being cast, one line must pertain the the enhancement being done, one line must pertain to the spell target. ie: Firebolt- Flames of my fire, burn greater with my desire, rotten kobold taste my ire. 1d10 becomes 2d10.
- If the above rules are not followed while, the spell will fizzle or backfire on the caster.
