This Feat is meant to be used with the LMC: Ring of Binding
You are traveling with the Ring Bearer. This feat is used to track the ring's influence on you, tracked by corruption.
Corruption Table:
| Corruption | Effect |
|---|---|
|
1-5 |
You begin to feel the pull and the power of the ring. |
|
6-10 |
You begin to doubt the desires and plans of your allies, contemplating whether the ring would not be better off in your hands. |
|
11-15 |
You begin to see the way the ring is effecting the ring bearer and your allies. You have no plans currently to take the ring for yourself, but you also won’t suffer anyone but the ring bearer so much as reaching out for the ring. |
|
16-20 |
The ring would be better off in your hands, but you won’t betray your allies. If, however, the ring falls into your hands somehow, why should you give it back? If the ring is on the ground, or somehow falls into your possession, make a roll against your corruption DC. On a fail, you attempt to keep the ring for yourself. |
|
21-25 |
If you can just get a moment alone with the ring bearer, you could help them see reason, and get them to agree to use the power of the ring to fight against evil. If you have the chance to get a moment alone with the ring bearer, you take it. If you can convince the ring bearer to let you use the ring, you will take it for yourself, otherwise make a roll against your corruption DC. On a fail, you attack, set on taking the ring by force. |
|
26-30 |
In addition to attempting to find a moment alone with the ring bearer, if you see the ring, make a roll against your corruption DC. On a fail, attempt to take the ring for yourself. You can attempt the roll again at the end of each round in order to regain control of yourself. |
|
30+ |
Enough is enough. You will do everything in your power to take and put on the ring. |
