
You've learned to efficiently utilize a whip in combat, letting the fluid nature of the weapon work into your favor. You gain the following benefits:
- When holding a Whip, its range extends to 15 feet.
- When you hit a target creature using a Whip and that target is at the edge of your attack range, you can roll an additional damage dice of the weapon’s damage.
- When you hit a target with a Whip, you can use a bonus action to make a grapple against it. If the grapple is successful the target is pulled the closest unoccupied spot within 5 feet.
- When you score a critical hit with a Whip against a creature, you maim the target. Until the start of your next turn, the target has disadvantage on all Strength (Athletics) and Dexterity (Acrobatics) checks.
