This feat allows the wearer to craft a makeshift explosive that can be thrown and detonated on impact. Crafting the explosive requires at least 1 flammable material and 1 method of ignition:
Method of Ignition:
- Tinderbox
- Flint and Steel
- Torch
- Alchemist's Fire
- Fire spells (Create Bonfire, Fire Bolt, etc)
Flammable material:
- Any cloth
- Oil flask (of any kind)
- Gunpowder
- Paper or parchment
- Hay or Straw
- Improvised flammable material
You may craft the explosive on your turn as an action. Proficiency with Smith's tools allows the wearer to craft the explosive as a bonus action. Can hold up to 3 explosives at a time.
As an action, you can throw the explosive up to 30 feet, detonating it on impact. Make a ranged attack against a creature or object, treating the explosive as an improvised weapon. On a hit, the target takes 2d6 fire damage on the initial hit, and an additional 1d4 fire damage at the start of each of it's turns. A creature can end this damage by using its action to make a DC 10 Dexterity check to extinguish the flames.
