When you make a Death Saving throw you can cling to life at the cost your well being.
Before rolling you can choose to sacrifice your max HP to increase the odds of success.
For each 2 max HP you sacrifice (up to 20) you increase the range of success by one. If you sacrifice 20 max HP and roll a natural 1, it is still a failure, but it only counts as one failed save. All sacrificed HP only counts for that roll and does not carry over to the next roll.
This feat cannot reduce you lower than 1 max HP.
Every time you complete a long rest you regain 2 max HP, and a Greater Restoration spell restores 20 max HP.
ex: If you sacrifice 6 max HP your Death Saving throw success range is now 7 and above.
