Epic of Renown

"Epic of Renown" is a feat that represents the growth of your character's fame and the impact of their reputation as they progress through their adventures. This feat isn't just about personal power or skill; it's about how your character is perceived in the world, how their legend grows, and the tangible effects that fame can have on their journey. As your character's story unfolds, they evolve from a local hero into a figure of mythic proportions, earning not just power but also the adoration, respect, and awe of the people.

Benefits:

• Notorious Figure (Level 5): Your character becomes a well-known figure in certain circles. You have advantage on Charisma (Persuasion) checks when interacting with those who are aware of your deeds. In areas where your reputation precedes you, you receive either free basic accommodations and services, or a fearful respect that grants you advantage Charisma (Intimidation) checks.
• Renowned Force (Level 10): Your character's infamy or fame spreads, and your renown grows. You now gain advantage on all Charisma-based skill checks. Once per short rest, you can inspire or command an ally, granting them advantage on their next ability check, attack roll, or saving throw.
• Symbol of Power (Level 15): Your character becomes a beacon of influence, whether through fear or admiration. You attract a small group of loyal followers who are devoted to your cause. All Charisma-based skill checks automatically succeed against these followers, reflecting their unwavering loyalty or fear.
• Legendary Entity (Level 20): Your character transcends to a status beyond mere mortals, becoming a figure of awe and authority. Once per month, you can automatically succeed on a critical Charisma-based check. You gain a dedicated following that will carry out non-combat tasks, gather information, and spread your influence further. This following obeys your orders, as long as these orders are not directly suicidal, and works to extend your legacy across other regions and realms.

Special Note: This feat encourages the Dungeon Master to weave the character's increasing notoriety into the narrative, offering unique story opportunities and challenges that reflect their infamous or heroic status. The character's actions may now have far-reaching consequences, reshaping the world in profound ways.
