An addition is a series of consecutive attacks that provide bonus damage and extra effects if performed successfully.
As a free action, you can spend one point of Inspiration to attempt an addition. You gain advantage on your first attack roll. If you are attempting to activate an extra effect from the addition, you must declare which one you are attempting prior to attacking. You deal bonus damage equal to the number of consecutive hits you land. The extra effects you can attempt are listed below:
5 Hits: Lower the target's AC by 2.
6 Hits: Wound the target for 1d6 damage each turn, for two turns (stackable).
7 Hits: Until the end of your next turn, you enter a counter stance. You can immediately switch to a weapon(s) of your choice. You can make one attack against each enemy that attacks you or an ally, provided that your equipped weapon can reach that enemy.
8 Hits: Double your bonus damage (number of hits) and trigger all three of your other addition effects.
