Starting at 4th level your character is famous and can receive a follower with a CHA saving throw DC 11. The follower is of the same class as your character and is level 1. If you mistreat your follower they will leave if you fail a CHA save DC 15. If your follower dies, you need to make a charisma saving throw DC 16 to find a new follower. You must not multiclass or your follower will leave you and you can not get a new follower. Everytime you are able to get another feat you can choose to get another follower.
A follower's level can not be more than half of your level rounded down. If you have more than 1 follower, your followers' levels combined can not be more than half of your level rounded up. You can use gold or some of your own experience points to level up a follower.
