Wings that have dormant in your species now sprouts from your back and your carapace hardens to a level to almost mimic plate armor.

• Your Carapace hardens similar to steel while you aren't wearing armor, you can calculate your AC as 15 + your Dexterity modifier. You can use a shield and still gain this benefit.
• Your elytra open revealing a set of wings and you gain a flying speed of 30ft.
