As a tinkerer, you gain access to explosives.These are a small brass orbs that makes a ticking sound once a small button on the top is pressed. One round after the button is pressed, the device explodes in a 5-foot radius dealing 1d8 fire damage to anything within it. If the device is destroyed, nothing happens.
You may have an amount of these explosives equal to your character level at any given time, which can be replenished by half during a short rest, or fully during a long rest. 1/4th of these, rounded up, may be arcana infused explosives.
Arcana infused explosives are more complex in their activation, and may carry a spell, the level of which is less than or equal to two less than your highest spell slot level. For example, if you have access to 5th level spell slots, it can carry a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd level spell.
The spell must take a single action to cast. The spell is otherwise treated normally based off your spell modifier, save DC, etc.
These bombs can be used by others, however, due to their complexity, you must spend 6 days worth of time teaching another character how to use them. This time is spent familiarising them with the surface level details of how you cast spells and how you create bombs, and gives them enough knowledge to be able to use any of your current and future bombs without issue.
