Prerequisite: The ability to cast at least one spell.
 

When casting a spell that needs a certain amount of gold pieces worth of components and you don't have the components, you may instead use gold directly. Casting the spell this way requires 50% more gold to be expended. The gold must be on your person to be used this way. This only works with gold pieces and platinum pieces. It also works if you have items made of solid gold, platinum, or precious gems. The spell will use the items at 75% of their actual value.

Using this feat is taxing on the caster's mind. Whenever you use this feat more than once between long rests, you gain one level of exhaustion for every use after the first.
