Increase your Wisdom by 1, to a maximum of 20.

You have advantage on Wisdom (Survival) Checks to track creatures.

You gain proficiency with the Wisdom (Survival) skill.

You gain a +1 bonus on Dexterity (Stealth) and Wisdom (Perception) checks. When you are in forest terrain, this bonus increases to +3.

You gain the Favoured Terrain ability. While travelling for an hour or more in your favoured terrain, you gain the following benefits:

  • Difficult terrain doesn’t slow your group’s travel.
  • Your group can’t become lost except by magical means.
  • Even when you are engaged in another activity while traveling (such as foraging, navigating, or tracking), you remain alert to danger.
  • If you are traveling alone, you can move stealthily at a normal pace.
  • When you forage, you find twice as much food as you normally would.
  • While tracking other creatures, you also learn their exact number, their sizes, and how long ago they passed through the area.

You can't be surprised if you are actively tracking.

You learn the Hunter's Mark spell. You can cast it once without expending a spell slot, and you must finish a long rest before you can cast it in this way again. You can also cast the spell using any spell slots you have. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for this spell.
