Lycanthropy Image

You are cursed with Lycanthropy.

You gain advantage on Perception checks that rely on hearing or smell. You gain darkvision with a range of 60 feet.

In addition, you have a Normal form, Hybrid form, and Wolf form. Your game statistics remain the same in your Normal form, as well as in Hybrid form. You retain access to your equipment, as well as class features and traits in Hybrid form.

As an action, you can shift into Hybrid form. You can do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all expended uses after finishing a long rest. You also have a chance to be forced into a change if you take damage. Each time you lose one-quarter of your total hit points (rounded up), you must make a Wisdom saving throw, or be forced into a frenzy at the start of your next turn. The DC is equal to 10 or half the damage, whichever is higher. The base DC increases by 3 after each save you roll, regardless of success or failure. You are considered proficient in this save. The DC decreases by 3 when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, and resets when you take a long rest.

The frenzy causes you to shift into Hybrid form if you aren't already, without expending a use, or using an action. When you frenzy, you must use your action and bonus action to use your claws to attack the nearest creature you can perceive, using your movement if there are no targets in range. At the end of your turn, you may make another Wisdom save at the same DC to regain control of yourself. If you dealt damage to a creature, you gain advantage on the save. If you reduced a creature to 0 hit points, you automatically succeed on the save.

In Hybrid form, your base movement speed is 40 feet, you have resistance to Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing damage from non-magical attacks that aren't silvered, and you gain advantage on Strength checks and Strength saves, as well as a bonus to damage with melee attacks. The bonus is equal to your character level divided by 4 (minimum of 1). You gain +1 to AC, and your unarmed strikes become claws that deal 1d6 + Strength bonus slashing damage. In addition, you gain a bite attack that deals 1d8 + Strength bonus piercing damage, and the target must succeed on a Constitution save (DC 8 + Constitution modifier + proficiency bonus) or be infected with Lycanthropy. When you make an attack with your claws, you can make one additional attack with them, or your bite attack, as a bonus action. The transformation lasts a number of hours equal to your Constitution modifier. You can also revert back to your normal form as a bonus action.

During a full moon, or when your frenzy is triggered often enough, you lose yourself to the wolf within. Once the base DC for your frenzy becomes 19, failure results in transforming into Wolf form, rather than Hybrid form. During the night of the full moon, you must make a Wisdom save (DC 10) every hour, or be forced into Wolf form. The DC increases by 2 each time you make the save.

In Wolf form, your statistics change to that of a Dire Wolf. You retain your Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution scores if yours are normally higher, as well as your normal hit points. Your equipment melds into your form or falls to the ground (DM's choice when you gain this feat.) Your AC is equal to 10 + Dexterity modifier + your proficiency bonus (from natural armor.) You gain immunity to Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing damage from non-magical attacks that aren't silvered. You retain all of your proficiencies, features, and traits while in Wolf form, but can only use those that don't rely on equipment, and that a Wolf could use. The DM gains control of your character as long as you remain in this form.
