Flail Master (Homebrew)

You have trained extensively with the flail and learned to take advantage of a its tactical advantages. You gain the following benefits:

• Increase your Strength or Constitution by 1, to a maximum of 20.
• Gain proficiency with flails, if you do not already have it.
• Once per turn, you can ignore any AC bonus from your target's shield when you make a melee attack with a flail.
• When wielding a flail and another creature hits you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to add your proficiency bonus to your AC for that attack, potentially causing the attack to miss you.
