Prerequisite: Requires Gunslinger subclass, an Intelligence Score of at least 16

Your mastery over Firearms gives you a unique insight into their craftsmanship, allowing you to utilize them in ways no one else can. You gain the following benefits;

  • Increase your Intelligence or Wisdom score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
  • You gain the ability modify your firearms during your free time with Attachments. You gain a total number of Attachments equal to half your Intelligence Modifier (rounded up, minimum of 1), and can have them on one or multiple different firearms, but can’t exceed your total amount, and can only have one of a type of Attachment per firearm. After a Long Rest, you may attach or detach any amount of Attachments and swap them out for new ones. A list of Attachments and their effects is provided below.
  • Only you can benefit from your Attachments. If anyone other than you attempts to use a firearm you’ve given Attachments, those Attachments lose their effects.

Sight
Prerequisites: None
You attach a ridge or some other marker on the barrel of your gun to help you aim. You have a +1 bonus to attack rolls made with this weapon.

Scope
Prerequisites: Doesn’t have the Light property
You install a scope onto your gun that allows you to see a much farther distance when you look through it. Double this firearm’s Long Range, but increase its Misfire score by 1. (If a gun doesn’t have a misfire score and an effect would increase it, it gains one.)

Rifling
Prerequisites: Doesn’t have the Light property
You install grooves on the inside of your gun’s barrel that cause bullets to spin when fired, making them more deadly. Attacks from this weapon will score a critical hit on a roll of 19-20, and you retain a Grit point on a roll of 19 or 20 on an attack roll. If you have the Vicious Intent feature, these values become 18-20 and 18, 19 or 20, respectively. However, it’s Misfire value increases by 1.

Sling
Prerequisites: Doesn’t have the Light or Heavy properties.
You install a sling or rope of some kind to wrap around your shoulder, allowing you to carry your gun without hands. You cannot unwillingly drop your weapon. If you’re forced to drop it, it hangs at your side instead.

Silencer
Prerequisites: Doesn’t have the Two-Handed or Heavy properties. Doesn’t deal Thunder damage.
You install a device at the end of your barrel that muffles some of the sound your firearm. Your firearm is by default quiet, and anyone attempting to listen for it must pass a Wisdom Perception or Intelligence Investigation check to hear when you shoot. Increase this firearm’s Misfire score by 1.

Metal Casing
Prerequisites: None
Your bullets become wrapped in a unique metal casing that contains the gunpowder, rather than the gun, allowing it to have more impact. You ignore Resistance to Piercing Damage and Immunity to Nonmagical Piercing Damage (normal Immunity to Piercing Damage works as normal). However, you consume two pieces of ammunition per shot. (This doesn’t affect this firearm’s Reload score.) Increase this firearm’s Misfire score by 1.

Stand
Prerequisites: Has the Two-Handed property
You install a retractable stand on the bottom of your gun, allowing you to prop it up easier when lying down. As an object interaction, you can unfold or retract the stand. While unfolded, you ignore the disadvantage on attack rolls with this weapon while [cond]Prone[/cond], but have disadvantage on attack rolls with this weapon while standing.

Hair Trigger
Prerequisites: None
Your trigger becomes much more sensitive, allowing for more tactics but at a high risk. You may perform an Attack of Opportunity with this gun when a creature leaves your Melee Range, or when a creature enters or exits your Short Range. Increase your Misfire score by 2.
