You are a lycanthrope. You gain the following benefits, which are general and can be representative of any of the different types of lycanthropy:
- Keen Senses You have advantage on Perception checks that rely on smell, hearing, and sight.
- Friend of the Wilds. You can communicate in a limited manner with animals of the family related to your lycanthropy. They can understand the meaning of your words, though you have no special ability to understand them in return. You have advantage on all Charisma checks you make to influence them.
- Lycanthropy Attack. You can use your bite or your claws (your choice) as a natural weapon, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with it, you deal piercing or slashing damage equal to 1d10 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
- Beast Form. Once per long rest, as a bonus action, you can temporarily transform into your beast form. When you do so, you gain temporary hit points equal to your level and a +1 bonus to your AC for 10 minutes. While transformed this way, you have a climbing speed equal to your walking speed, and you must make a wisdom saving throw. On a success, nothing happens. On a failure, your intelegence is halved for the duration of your transformation.
- Werebeast. Whenever you are under the ultimate force that governs your transformation, such as the full moon if you are a werewolf, you enter a state of ultimate lycanthropy and must make a wisdom saving throw. On a success, you remain in moderate control of yourself in your beast form. On a failure, you become a feral beast with little mind remaining for the duration of the transformation. For as long as this transformation lasts (for example, the whole night of the full moon), you have immunity to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage made with nonsilvered weapons, your size is Large, your Lycanthropy Attack deals double damage.
