You have the ability to enchant weapons, armor and other enchantable items.
You may enchant any item with any spell you know. Alternatively, you may use a scroll as a substitute for knowing the spell you wish to imbue. If the spell you are trying to imbue is of a higher level than you can currently cast, You must succeed on DC 15 arcana check or the enchantment fails. The DC increases by 5 for every level of the spell above your current highest spell slot level. Whether the enchantment succeeds or fails, the scroll is consumed.
Enchanting items with effects that are not defined in existing spells must first be researched for 1d12 days at a cost of 1d10 x 100 GP.
Exactly how the item is enchanted, how the enchantment works and whether or not an enchantment is even possible is at the discretion of the DM.
The enchanting process takes 1d4 hours for every level of the spell you are attempting to imbue the object with.
