Erupting Tome

This is an invocation for Warlocks

As an action, you can throw your tome a number of feet equal to 5 * your Strength modifier and cause it to explode. The nature of this explosion depends on your patron. Any creature within 10 feet of the book must succeed on a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw or take 4d6 damage (Radiant for Archfey, Fire for Fiend, and Necrotic for Old One), or half on a successful save. Destroying the book in this way requires you to spend an extra hour performing the ceremony to get it back.

*Note - If your patron is not a fiend, archfey, or old one, come to a conclusion with your DM on what kind of damage would make the most sense.
