As an Aarakocra, if you stop flying or are forced to stop flying, you may expend one charge of your Flight Magic to stay aloft or slow your descent to prevent fall damage.

If you choose to stay aloft, you may do so, but must roll lower than your proficiency bonus on a d20 each subsequent turn to stay aloft. If you are forced to fall again, you must succeed on a constitution check of 19. However, if you are forced to fall via the same source (incapacitated, stunned), you may stay aloft.

If you choose to slow your descent, you fall slowly over a course of two turns. You may control your directional movement by 3*1d4 per turn.
