Deflect Strikes

You can use 1 ki point as a reaction when you are hit by a melee weapon attack. When you do so, the damage you take from the attack is reduced by 1d10 + your Dexterity modifier + your monk level.

If you reduce the damage to 0, you can catch the weapon as long as you have at least one hand free. If you catch a weapon in this way, you can spend an additional ki point to attempt to disarm the opponent, as part of the same reaction. Roll an opposed Athletics or Sleight of Hand check against the attacker and if you succeed you can disarm them of their weapon
