As with a regular ASI, choose two abilities to each increase by 1.
Next, you embrace your impulsive nature and learn how to gamble with your power. Now, you never have to do this, but as you've already gotten your normal ASI, it can't hurt to have this little feature. You're never going to use it, right? So, what's the harm?
At any time, you may use a bonus action to gamble a spell slot in an attempt to regain more sorcery points than the spell slot is worth.
First, sacrifice a spell slot.
Next, roll 1d4-2 per spell level you sacrificed. Yes, that's 1d4 minus 2 per spell level. The result is how many sorcery points you get back. If it's a negative number, that's how many you lose.
If the result is less than the sacrificed spell slot value, you can improve the result by adding 1d2 to the total; however, if you roll a 2, you must also roll on the Wild Magic Surge table. You can do this a number of times equal to the spell level you sacrificed, potentially turning a loss into a win.
If you accept the result but now have a sorcery point balance of less than zero, set it to zero and increase your level of exhaustion by one. As an alternative, you can accept the result, set your sorcery point total to zero, and roll on the Wild Magic Surge table.
