Prerequisite: Proficiency with shields
You use shields not just for protection but also for offense. You gain the following benefits while you are wielding a shield:
- You can use a bonus action to try to shove a creature within 5 feet of you with your shield.
- Character may use their reaction to gain resistance to any piercing, slashing, or bludgeoning damage or any damaging attack that grants a DEX saving throw.
- +1 to AC when using a shield
