You were born under the sign of the Chimera. Those born under this sign often excel at certain tasks, but fail just as hard at some others. Chimera-born often positively align with two aspects of the namesake creature, and negatively with the other. You gain a boon for two of the following creatures, and a bane for the remaining creature.
The Lamb.
Boon: Lamb's curiosity. You have a perceptive mind. You gain a +1 bonus to Intelligence (investigation) and Wisdom (perception) checks
Bane: Lamb's meekness. You struggle to shine in social interactions. You have disadvantage on intimidation and persuasion checks.
The Lion.
Boon: Lion's roar. You speak powerful words to bolster an ally. As a reaction, you may grant an ally a bonus to their armor class and to hit until the the start of their next turn. This bonus is equal to your proficiency bonus plus your charisma modifier. You must complete a long rest before you can use this ability again.
Bane: Lion's slumber. You can't bear labour without a firm rest after. To complete a short rest, you must spend half an hour in sleep. To complete a long rest, you must spend 8 uninterrupted hours sleeping. If your long rest is interrupted, you may spend the remaining time sleeping to complete the long rest, but gain a point of exhaustion after.
The Dragon.
Boon: Dragon's rage. You have a relentless rage. When you drop below half of your hit-point maximum, for the next minute, you gain a +1 to hit and damage on all attacks. You must complete a short or long rest before you can use this ability again.
Bane: Dragon's hubris. You suffer from confidence. The first attack against you in combat has advantage.
