When introduced to the whip as more than a simple weapon, you had a personal epiphany. The whip is both practical and fun!

• Gain weapon proficiency with whips if you do not already have it.
• While you are wielding a whip, other creatures provoke an opportunity attack from you when they enter your reach.
• As an Attack action, you may use your whip to perform a Shove to trip the target knocking them prone, using your attack roll in place of a Strength check.
• You may use a whip to extend your reach as part of an Athletics or Acrobatics maneuver (excluding Grapple).
