Boon Of Dionysus Image

Type: Boon

Description: Dionysus, the god of wine, revelry, and festivity, grants you his favor, imbuing you with an unparalleled capacity to resist mental influence and embrace the spirit of celebration. You carry an aura of joviality and resilience, reflecting Dionysus's dual nature as a patron of both the vine and the vibrant life that surrounds it.

Effects:

  • Charm of the Reveler: You cannot be magically charmed or frightened. Your mind is as free as the most raucous festivals.
  • Vineborn Immunity: You are immune to poison and the poisoned condition, a gift from the god who masters the vine and its fruits.
  • Master of Mirth: When you consume alcohol, you retain full control over your state of inebriation. You decide how intoxicated you become and can sober up almost instantaneously at your discretion.
  • Heart of the Party: When in a social gathering place (such as a pub, tavern, or inn), you can attempt to ignite a festive atmosphere. Roll a d20 and add your Charisma modifier. The DC for this check is normally 12, but the DM may adjust this based on circumstances. On a successful check, you lift the spirits of all present, creating a lighthearted mood. For the next 10 minutes, or possibly longer at the DM's discretion, you have advantage on all Charisma checks made within this area. You may attempt to initiate this celebratory effect once per hour per establishment. However, the DM may allow more frequent attempts if significant changes in the establishment's dynamics occur (e.g., a new crowd arrives).
