Prerequisite: Intelligence or Charisma 13 or higher
You have extensive knowledge about tropes in media, and have learned how to exploit them based on the principle trope of Truth In Folklore, realizing that ultimately, Reality Is Unrealistic. You gain the following benefits:
- All Myths are True. Whenever you make an ability check to recall a piece of folklore or legend, you can add half your proficiency bonus to the roll. You add this bonus even if you can already add your proficiency bonus to the roll, but not if you can already add twice your proficiency bonus.
- Rule of Three. Whenever you affect or target a given creature for the third time in an hour-long period (such as with attacks, spells, or abilities), you can choose to deal psychic damage to that creature equal to 3 times your proficiency bonus. A given creature can only be damaged by this trait once before it finishes a long rest.
- Million-to-One Chance. When you or a creature within 5 feet of you that can hear you makes a roll with disadvantage, you can use your reaction to remove that disadvantage and instead grant the roll advantage, informing the creature that a one in a million shot is always a sure thing. You can take this reaction once, and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest.
