Prerequisite: Strength 13 or higher

You’ve developed the skills necessary to hold your own in close-quarters grappling. You gain the following benefits:

  • You have advantage on attack rolls against a creature you are grappling.
  • Your speed is not halved as long as the target is the same size or smaller than you.
  • You can use your free action to try to pin a creature grappled by you. To do so, make another grapple check. If you succeed, the creature is restrained and prone. The creature only loses the restrained condition when the grapple ends. Your movement is set to 0 if you are restraining the target. If you are hit with a melee attack while restraining a creature, you must make a strength saving check or lose the grappling condition. DC equals 10 or half the damage you took, whichever is the highest.
  • You can use your free action to try to throw a creature grappled by you if the creature is at least a size smaller than you. To do so, make another grapple check. If you succeed, you can throw the creature up to 10ft* away to deal 1*d4 bludgeoning damage plus strength modifier. The creature is prone. If you throw the creature to another creature, make an attack roll that deals 1*d4 damage plus strength modifier to the other creature.
    • *If the size category difference is by 1, then the creature can be thrown up to 10ft away. If the size category difference is by 2, then the creature can be thrown up to 20ft away. If the size category difference is by 3 or greater, then the creature can be thrown up to 40ft away. The number of dies rolled for damage changes from 1, 2, and 4 respectively.
