Eldritch Curse

Your dabbling in Eldritch magics has caused you to manifest an Eldritch Curse in the form of a marking on your skin, you choose the appearance of the mark.

• You learn the Mind Sliver cantrip. In addition, you learn the 1st-level spell Cause Fear. You cast this spell through your curse. Once you cast it, you must finish a short or long rest before you can cast it again through your mark. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.

• When you cast either Mind Sliver or Cause Fear through your curse, flip a coin. If the coin lands on heads, the closest creature immediately takes 1d4 psychic damage. if the coin lands on tails, the mental toll of casting a spell through a forbidden marking will cause you to fall Prone.

The 1d4 psychic damage increases by 1d4 when you hit 5th level (2d4), 11th level (3d4), and 17th level, (4d4)
