You suffered an acute case of frostbite in one of your extremities. You saved yourself from death, but at the cost of several fingers.

When you roll a dexterity check that uses fine-motor skills, such as forging handwriting, picking locks, performing sleight of hand tricks, and the like, roll your Mastery dice and subtract the roll from your total.
