The stiffness of your form sometimes causes your ki to flow improperly, causing you physical and mental pain when you attempt to channel your ki into your abilities.

After you spend one or more Ki points, roll your Mastery dice. If the result is lower than or equal to the amount of Ki you spent, you are unable to spend ki until the end of your next turn. You can spend an action to briefly meditate, removing the effect.
