Your appearance is definitely uncanny, be it by birth, accident or some ordained circumstance. This makes you frightening to most people.
- Your Charisma score is reduced by 2 points, but you gain proficiency in either the Intimidation or Performance skill. (Expertise if you were already proficient)
- The nature of your disfigurement also makes you lose 1 point in one physical ability score (Strength, Dexterity, Constitution).
- You gain the Frightening Display feature, and can use it a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.
Frightening Display: Temporarily assuming the guise of a true monster, you target all enemies in a 30-foot radius around you. They must make a Charisma saving throw against your Charisma (Intimidation or Performance).
You can roll an Intimidation/Performance check to set the DC they must match or cross to resist, or use it as you would a spell save DC (8+ your Intimidation/Performance bonus). Those who succeed on this save are immune to this feature for 24 hours, while those who fail are frightened of you for up to 1d4 minutes. Creatures that have failed to resist this feature on their first try make following saves with disadvantage. (Resetting after 24 hours)
*Constructs, Fiends, Plants, Undead are unaffected*

Posted Sep 25, 2019It is meant mostly as a Flaw of sorts, but also as a way to encourage more combat diversity and RP.
Some of it might be overkill (Like the disadvantage for those who fail to resist it at first), but I am open to feedback.
