Having become proficient in magic and casting spells you can cast spells in quick succession. Whenever you use an action to cast a spell, you can cast another spell of lower level as a bonus action. If you used your action to cast a cantrip, you can cast another cantrip as a bonus action. (aka you can eldritch blast you times per turn).
