As a Bonus Action, you take a swig of alcohol to fuel your fighting. Each time you use this feature, choose one of the options below. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all uses after completing a long rest.
Reckless Drinking (Offensive): Your attacks become more accurate and powerful, but you consequently leave yourself open to attack. Until the end of your next turn, you may add additional damage equal to your Martial Arts die to each attack you make with an Unarmed Strike or a Monk Weapon. This damage matches the damage type of the weapon used. Additionally, you gain advantage on all attack rolls, but melee attacks against you have advantage.
Numb the Pain (Defensive): Your nerves become dulled. Incoming blows hurt less, but your attack accuracy suffers. You gain temporary hit points equal to twice your Martial Arts die + your CON modifier. These temporary hit points expire upon completing a short or long rest. Additionally, until the end of your next turn you have disadvantage on attack rolls but gain resistance to all bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
