Due to a lifetime of blindness, you have managed to navigating the world without sight. You may use smell to recognize individuals, echolocation to move without hindrance, and may even be able to perceive the slight variations in air currents around them to sense the presence of objects. These talents may only require a subtle focus on your part, or a more overt display of the use of their senses.
- * You permanently have the Blinded condition, however you do not suffer the Disadvantage on attack rolls or attack rolls against you that is normally associated with this condition.
- * You develop the ability to use blindsight up to a range of 15/30/60/120 at levels 1/5/10/20 respectively. You can discern location of objects/targets past this distance with Perception checks.
- You gain advantage on Perception Checks that rely on sound, smell, taste, or touch; however automatically fail Ability Checks that rely on sight.
- You are Vulnerable to Thunder damage.
* Sudden/bombarding loud noises require a Constitution saving throw or suffer the temporary loss of marked effects and halved movement until the noise subsides to a manageable level. Being deafened has the same effect without a saving throws.
Focus: As an Action you can push your other senses beyond their limits and maintaining concentration. You double the range of your blindsight for the duration. You can use one subsequent action to increase this abilities range by an additional 30 feet. This ability also provides advantage on Insight checks on creatures with a heartbeat, as you listen to their pulse. The effect ends when you lose concentration or after a number of rounds equal to your wisdom/constitution modifier. This ability recharges on a Short or Long Rest.
