You were involved in an accident. It appears you have bumped your poor little head! It wasn't at all that pestering ant that crawled into your ear. Nonsense! The result of your bump is:
Frequent Amnesia! ~~Instead of forgetting everything that has occurred, you forget things in the present at odd times. Roll a d20 anytime a PRESENT fact comes up.
If the result is 11-20, you remember everything perfectly, except if you already forgot it.
If the result is 1-10, you forgot what you were talking about, and most things related to that thing at the present time.
ex: if you were speaking about what the shopkeeper said as you were eavesdropping on him and reporting it to your brothers-in-arms, and happened to roll a 5 on a memory check, you would remember shadows and vague references, but not what the conversation was.
Once per long rest: You can attempt to actively combat your amnesia, rolling a DC 20 WIS save. On a success, you recall with crystal clear accuracy, in a narrator's tone, precisely what occurred and what was said for the event. On a fail, take 3d6 psychic damage.
