Arcane Aegis

You have honed your magical prowess to shield yourself from harm and bend arcane energies to your will. This feat grants you the following benefits:

• Once per long rest, you can amplify the power of a spell you cast. When you cast a spell of 1st level or higher, you can choose to empower it. When you roll damage for a spell, you may use the maximum roll for one of the die.
• Once per short rest, when you are hit by a spell attack, you gain 1d4 + 4 temporary hit points for 10 minutes. If you are damaged by a spell during this time, the spell's damage is halved.
