Some Fey, such as Drow and Elves have lived in the Material Plane long enough to loose their connection to the Feywild. However, if someone with at least half a fey ancestry stays in the Feywild, they become full fey receiving the following benefits.
- Whenever a humanoid gives you their name, you gain advantage on tracking them and advantage on Persuasion, Deception, and intimidation checks on them. They also have disadvantage on saves against being charmed by you. This can only be used on one humanoid at a time, and does not work on other humanoids with fey ancestry. Also, it only works if they have given you their full name themselves.
- Whenever you die in the material plane, you are revived into the Feywild. You can only be killed there.
- You become immune to being charmed, but only by other fey.
- Increase your Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
- You learn the misty step spell and one 1st-level spell of your choice. The 1st-level spell must be from the divination or enchantment school of magic. You can cast each of these spells without expending a spell slot. Once you cast either of these spells in this way, you can’t cast that spell in this way again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast these spells using spell slots you have of the appropriate level. The spells’ spellcasting ability is the ability increased by this feat.
You also loose some things by becoming Fey Bound.
- You take a -2 to an ability score of your choice.
- If you are not in the Feywild, you have disadvantage on death saves.
- You loose a feat to gain this one. (DM's choice)
- If the banished spell is used on you, you return to the Feywild. if they are able to focus the whole 1 minute, you are stuck in the feywild until you can find a portal back
