Disciple of Chaos (LIVE - Introduction to Chaos Theory)

Prerequisite: Must have completed the "Introduction to Chaos Theory" class with Professor Maelstrom.

Description: Your deep understanding of chaos theory and its principles grants you unique abilities to harness the unpredictable forces of the universe. This feat allows you to embrace chaos, turning unpredictability into a powerful tool in both combat and problem-solving.

Benefits:

1. Chaotic Insight:

   • Effect: Once per long rest, you can gain advantage on an Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma check. When you use this ability, roll a d4. On a roll of 1, you have disadvantage on the next ability check of the same type.
   • Description: Your understanding of chaos allows you to occasionally see patterns and solutions that others might miss, though it comes with inherent risks.

2. Chaos Infusion:

   • Effect: When you hit with a melee or ranged weapon attack, you can choose to deal an additional 1d6 damage. Roll a d6:
     • On a 1-2: You deal additional force damage.
     • On a 3-4: You deal additional psychic damage.
     • On a 5-6: You deal additional necrotic damage.
   • Description: Your attacks can channel chaotic energy, though the exact nature of the energy is unpredictable.

3. Unpredictable Reflexes:

   • Effect: When you are attacked by a creature you can see, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
   • Description: Your heightened awareness of chaos allows you to react unpredictably in defense, making it harder for opponents to land their attacks.

4. Strange Attractor:

   • Effect: As a bonus action, you can create a 10-foot radius area centered on a point within 30 feet. This area is filled with chaotic energy for 1 minute. Any creature (including you) that starts its turn in this area must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or have its movement speed reduced by half until the start of its next turn. You can use this feature once per long rest.
   • Description: Your mastery of chaos theory allows you to warp reality in a localized area, creating a field of unpredictable energy that affects movement.
