Beginning at 21st level, when you take an action to cast a non-Epic spell and expend a spell slot of 5th level or lower, as a part of that action you may simultaneously cast a 1st level spell with a casting time of 1 action or bonus action. You determine in what order each of the spells is cast.
As you advance as an Archmage, you can cast more powerful spells using this feature according to the Arcane Fusion table of the Archmage class progression chart.
You cannot use this feature to cast cantrips.
