After reading a book of specific types, the user can acquire additional benefits on that book. The book type adds a +2 the type of book read upon, such as a history book adds +2 to History or a book on swordsmanship gives +2 to hit. Only one of this feat can be acquired, but the feat type can be changed on request to DM. This feat can be acquired by reading a book on a type of book and is distributed based on the type of book read; however, the DM is the one to actually hand out the feat. This feat can be acquired without the normal acquisition method of feats, such as leveling.
