As an official of the church you gain some power and benefits from your position. Maybe you're the rare non-cleric official in a church or simply a cleric looking to be more involved with your deities church.
- You can now cast Ceremony for free.
- You gain resistance to a damage type related to whatever deity you are involved with. If your deity has multiple domains pick one.
- You gain the Shelter of the Faithful feature from the Acolyte background, if you already have this feature you can gain its benefits in any temple that isn't in direct opposition to your deity.
- You may cast one domain spell that a cleric of your level from the domain of your deity would be able to cast once per long rest.
