Condition: Tethered

Often caused by effects that can deal Force damage.
While Tethered, you experience the following effects:

• Actions Affected. You cannot take the Magic Action to activate Magical Items.
• Exploits Affected. You can only Perform Exploits of a Degree equal to half your Proficiency Modifier or lower. If this Condition causes you to be unable to Perform Exploits, the size of your Exploit Die is instead reduced by 1, and you can still Perform Exploits of the 1st-Degree.
• Magic Affected. You can only Cast Spells of a Circle equal to your Proficiency modifier or lower. If this still allows you to use all your available Spell Slots, the maximum Circle of spell you can cast is instead reduced by 1. If this Condition causes you to be unable to Cast Spells, the number of Spell Slots you have is instead reduced by 1, and you can still Cast Spells of the 1st-Circle.
• Speed Affected. You cannot Teleport.
• Resist. If you take Psychic damage, you reduce the damage by a number equal to your Proficiency Bonus.
• Vulnerable. If you would gain this Condition again, you instead take an additional die of Force damage. If the effect deals no damage, you take 1d4 Force damage.
