Cornered Rat

You can go from piteous groveling to a murderous fury in the blink of an eye.

Benefit: When an enemy makes an Intimidation check against you or when you make a Persuasion check to plead or negotiate during combat, you can use your reaction to gain the following benefits on your next turn:

• Surge of Fury: You gain a +2 bonus on your attack rolls.
• Caught Off-Guard: If you attack the opponent who made the Intimidate check against you or the target of your previous Persuasion check, that opponent must succeed on a DC 10 Wisdom (Insight) check or else they cannot take reactions until the end of your next turn and you have advantage on attack rolls against them until the end of your next turn.

Special: You can use this feat only once per combat encounter. If you successfully use this feat, you cannot use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
