Every creature, living or dead, has some minute magic harbored within. Every creature except for those Unwoven. Whether you were born with the condition or were cursed with it, the effects are much the same.

  • You can't learn or cast spells.
  • You receive half the amount of damage, health, temporary health, or other numerical effect from magical sources.
  • You have advantage on saving throws to resist magical effects and cannot refuse to make the saving throw.
  • If you magically gain advantage or disadvantage, replace it with a +2 or -2 respectively on the affected roll.
  • You cannot be affected by any conditions or any gained abilities/disabilities caused solely through magic. Magic can still impose conditions if done so indirectly, such as with an entangle spell.

Some notable exceptions to the above rules are Bardic Inspiration, spare the dying, and wish.

If you are unsure about the effects of a certain spell, discuss with your GM.
