At some time in your life, you trained with a master of bardic power. Your master bolstered your potential and gave tangible form to your own bardic abilities.
You gain proficiency in your choice of performance, deception or persuasion if you do not already have proficiency in the one chosen and a +1 to Charisma.
You can choose a cantrip, a first level spell and a second level spell from the bard list. If you are a spellcaster already, you use your regular spell slots to cast them. If you are not a spellcaster already, you can cast your first level - and second level spell once per long rest. Your spellcasting ability for these spells is Charisma.
You gain proficiency in an instrument of your choice and may use it as a spell focus. If another artistic item works better (for example, a paintbrush), consult your DM.
You can grant inspiration to another creature once per long rest. The inspiration dice starts at a d6. It becomes a d8 at 5th level. It becomes a d10 at 10th level. It no longer increases afterward. It requires your action to inspire another creature.
